Hello Community,

I hope you are having a productive summer.  Has the rain slowed you down?  Well, for ARWE it’s been an adventure.  Firstly, did I tell you- The Beltline Team has joined us. *celebrate*   This has been an amazing move uniting these companies and expanding our reach throughout Atlanta, making Community Re-development our focus and stabilizing many blighted streets.  We have had God’s favor on our projects- getting offers on homes the DAY OF- open house events, making big strides with appraisals (seeing a strong comeback), as well as getting many first time buyers into their dream home using Neighborhood Lift, Invest Atlanta and NSP funds.

Secondly, we also had the opportunity to work with Invest Atlanta as they held an open house event in Glenwood Park for Atlanta Public Schools.  I’m looking forward to doing this again, especially with the many new Charter Schools all around the Beltline- we need to ensure our teachers and staff have a walkable commute.  Council Member Cleta Winslow has provided much support with advertising, and expanding our reach to her home buyer base.  We are very grateful for City Council support in housing, and seeking more support on the code enforcement side.

So what’s next?  August 17th. Mark your calendars as Committed to Communities (C2C) will return, in a bigger and better way- partnering with LifeCycle to showcase sustainability, and the amazing homes within Historic Adair Park. Home to both Derrick Duckworth and Justin Vogel- you know this event will be HUGE!  Come out, claim your home- claim your Neighborhood Lift & Invest Atlanta funds and join the movement of intown living!
