The West End farmers market kicked off Sunday at the Wrens Nest. It was another great opportunity to meet and chat with neighbors while purchasing fresh products and supporting local businesses providing locally grown food and handmade original items.

The Wrens Nest is a perfect location for the market, providing shade, ample parking and even background effects of a goat eating and clearing poison ivy- I felt at peace,and in no rush to get home and study ( which was on my to-do list all week!). I sampled spicy Kale, Arugula, Mint…why does the mint at my house not grow? Of course the vendor provided tips for my own home garden.

There were a few families I helped purchase in our community laughing and joking…. What a rewarding feeling seeing them bond and discuss how good the Historic home tour and concert was the night before! Amazing how selling Real Estate is more than..selling Real Estate.
