Call for Pop-Up Shops in the West End

How would you like to be a part of the “Pop-Up Store” Concept? Well, you will get a FREE opportunity to be a part of this phenomenon on Saturday, Aug. 15, from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. on one block of Ralph David Abernathy Blvd..Pop-up retail stores are temporary stores at a designated venue, designed to attract consumers with something exclusive, surprising and exciting, while the brand gets exposure to create an impact and communicate something specific to a larger audience.
As the Councilmember representing District 4, I am looking to highlight home-based businesses and other small businesses in District 4 and put them in a retail location to market and sell their products on the block of Ralph David Abernathy Blvd. between Lee Street and Evans Street. There will be no charge to market in that space.
There is limited space available and we will go through a selection process. Please submit information regarding your product and/or business via email to cwinslow@atlantaga.gov or cleta.winslow@gmail.com. Deadline for submissions is Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Once a business has been selected, we will do a walk-through of the location.
