“When a House is Not a Home”
Come out to the NPU-T meeting this Wednesday at 7PM to view this special presentation on the effects of foreclosure by West End residents Paulette Richards and Brent Brewer of Ayamedia Productions. It is “the story of how the neighbors in Atlanta‘s Historic West End got educated, empowered, and engaged in reclaiming their neighborhood”
As per NPU-T chair, Kwabena NKromo:
“The NPU-T meeting will be held in the Shrine of the Black Madonna‘s main auditorium this month to accommodate the additional guests expected for the film and to benefit from a theatre size screen to view the documentary. This venue is right next to our usual meeting place (Founders Hall) and there will be signs indicating the entrance. Lastly, there will be a light food buffet provided for attendees’ enjoyment after the screening. All are welcome.”
