Greetings from the Friends of Washington Park!
 
Friends of Washington Park (FoWP) is a volunteer organization formed in 2007
with the goal of supporting Washington Park. FoWP is working to promote a
public space which improves the quality of life through safe, clean, and
well-maintained green space and high quality facilities.
 
On August 5, 2008, FoWP will be participating in the National Night Out 2008
with our inaugural Cinema in the Park After Dark event.  The 25th Annual
National Night Out is a unique crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the
National Association of Town Watch. This will be an opportunity for local and
neighboring residents to interact as well as come out to meet local law
enforcement officers in an effort to strengthen our community and heighten drug
and crime prevention awareness. Additionally residents will have opportunity to
view the critically acclaimed motion picture Pride on a 20ft. Screen in the
Washington Park Natatorium parking area. 
 
In anticipation and support of this event we would like to offer your business
the unique opportunity to advertise on the big screen prior to the movie.  For
your convenience we offer three different advertising options to suit any
budget:
 
Option 1--$25:       Company logo of no more than half a page displayed with other
logos as sponsoring businesses in slide show prior to movie. 
 
Option 2--$50:       Full page company ad, including pictures, logos, and slogan as a sponsoring business in slide show prior to movie.
 
Option 3--$100:     Company may submit full length commercial of no more than 1
minute in length to be shown immediately prior to and directly following the
movie.
 
All advertisements are due by Friday, August 1, 2008 and must come in
electronic and/or scan-ready format.  Please make all checks payable to “Park
Pride-Washington Park”. Due to our partnership with Park Pride, a 501(c)3, all
donations made to FoWP are tax deductible.
