Atlanta will host the NCAA’s 75th Anniversary celebration of March Madness April 5-8, 2013.  Employees and residents should be prepared for increased foot, mass transit and automobile traffic during this period.

Organizers anticipate that this year’s Final Four weekend will draw among the highest number of attendees in the event’s history.  Activities will take place in the downtown Atlanta area, with events hosted at the Georgia Dome, Phillips Arena, the Georgia World Congress Center, and Centennial Olympic Park.

Events during this weekend will include the Big Dance® Concert Series, which is a free-to-the-public, non-ticketed, three-day outdoor concert series in Centennial Olympic Park.  Guests may come and go as they please during hours of operation however, once the park reaches capacity, no guests will be permitted to enter the gates.
