The Atlanta Police Department is hosting an event this Sunday at Washington Park from 1-4 pm and would love your help spreading the word.

The Department is inviting the community to meet officers from the Police Athletic League, Crime Stoppers, Recruitment, Community Liaison Unit, Bike Patrol, Crime Prevention Inspectors, as well as our partner the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department and the Department of Parks and Recreation.

Citizens will be able to visit with the Mounted Patrol, meet Motormen, and see an APD helicopter. McGruff, the crime dog, will also be on hand to pass out crime prevention materials.

Free face painting and refreshments!

The park is located at 1125 Lena St NW, Atlanta, GA 30314.
